We recently had the pleasure of sponsoring a lovely at Connections Cafe Sussex in Eastbourne. It was a truly special day filled with warmth, laughter, and meaningful connections. Our team at Ashley Gardens was delighted to bake and share some homemade cakes, which brought plenty of smiles and helped make the afternoon a memorable one for everyone who came along.

Connections Cafe Sussex is a remarkable community interest company that provides a safe and welcoming space for individuals living with dementia, along with their families and carers. Operating in towns across East Sussex including Eastbourne, Bexhill, and Crowborough they create social, engaging spaces that offer companionship, activities, and support. 

The Eastbourn event was filled with joy, connection, and community spirit. Connections Cafe Sussex set up a vibrant stall to raise awareness and vital funds, bringing people together in support of dementia-friendly initiatives. Their efforts were even officially recognised by the Bonfire Society, an incredible achievement!
