Spring arrived at Ashley Gardens with plenty of smiles, laughter, and memorable activities for our residents and staff throughout March 2026.

Fun Fit Morning Full of Energy

One of the highlights of the month was our lively Fun Fit Morning, led by our wonderful Activity Manager, Sue. Residents and staff enjoyed dancing together to cheerful music, creating a fun and energetic atmosphere throughout the home

A particularly funny moment came when Jean encouraged Suni to “give her best dance as everyone’s watching,” bringing laughter and smiles to everyone taking part.

Celebrating Special Birthdays

March also gave us the opportunity to celebrate the birthdays of two of our lovely residents. Both ladies enjoyed their special day surrounded by warmth, friendship, and beautiful birthday cakes.

Creative Easter Arts & Crafts :

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful Easter Arts& Crafts session. This time residents had the opportunity to paint DIY ceramic items specially made by our Activity Co-ordinator, Alexa. She did an excellent job moulding and getting all the pieces ready, making it easy and enjoyable for everyone to take part.

Marie was especially touched by her ceramic piece and proudly shared: “This is Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus.” showing how meaningful the activity was for her.

Mike commented, ‘What a beautiful thing to paint’, clearly appreciating the activity.

Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea

Residents also enjoyed a beautiful Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea filled with delicious treats, lovely conversations, and quality time together. The afternoon created a warm and welcoming atmosphere where everyone could relax and enjoy the special occasion.
